RACIRI Summer School in August 2019

The 2019 RACIRI Summer School will be held from August 4 - 11, 2019 in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad area, Russia. The call for application is open and the deadline for the German Call is 20th of May 2019.

The RACIRI Summer School is a joint initiative by Sweden, Russia and Germany embedded in the collaborative frameworks of the Röntgen-Angström-Cluster (RÅC) and the Ioffe-Röntgen-Institute (IRI). It promotes young scientists in advanced materials design with a strong connection to the excellent research infrastructures in the region. Partnering organizing institutions are the DESY in Germany, NRC Kurchatov Institute in Russia and the Swedish Research Council Vetenskapsrådet.

The aim of the summer school is to bring together young scientists from Russia, Sweden and Germany and provide them with insights into materials research in connection with synchrotron radiation and neutrons.
This year´s focus theme: From Basic Science and Applications to Technologies inspired by Nature
