MATRAC 2 School - REGISTRATION IS OPEN! THE FINAL APPLICATION DEADLINE IS 30. APRIL 2024.
The coming MATRAC 2 School will be held from 1st to 6th September 2024 in Herrsching (Ammersee) and Garching (Munich) with experiments at FRM II.
The MATRAC 2 School will provide a systematic overview of the application of neutrons and synchrotron radiation to the structural analysis of materials and will focus on neutron scattering and imaging experiments. All relevant experimental methods will be covered. The school consists of a two-day theoretical course in Herrsching with some interactive teaching elements and two days of experiments at the MLZ / FRM II in Garching. The fifth day of the school offers further talks and a final discussion. PhD students, last-year Master’s students and young postdoctoral scientists from research and industry from all over Europe interested in the field are welcome to participate.
